JJ Foundation is a koinonia of seminarians, established as an expression of friendship, fraternity, and remembrance. It seeks to keep alive the inspirational memories and cherished moments shared during seminary formation. The initials J & J are dedicated to Bro. Joby Ottaplackal and Bro. Jestin Poonely, who were called to their eternal reward during their Major Seminary formation. In their memory, the Foundation continues to foster the spirit of brotherhood, mutual support, and lasting friendship among seminarians. As part of its activities, the JJ Foundation also honours academic excellence by presenting an award to the best student in studies among the outgoing third-year philosophy students, thereby encouraging dedication, commitment, and excellence in academic formation.
