For the past three years, brothers of little flower major seminary have been rendering the service to the different traffic islands of Aluva city. The traffic volunteering venture fosters social orientation to the seminarians. There was an extension lecture by the traffic police department Aluva, brothers were officially enrolled to traffic duty by handing over traffic caps by the traffic sub inspector Muhammed Basheer. Our seminarians extended service on Fridays and Saturdays from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm in small groups of eleven persons at different traffic islands in and around of Aluva town to control and help traffic at peak times. This ministry will help our seminarians to equip themselves with the qualities of commitment, discipline, patience and decision making. The Kerala traffic police awarded certificates to each student for their valuable services. Mr. Vishal Johnson the circle inspector of traffic police gave away the certificates to the students. Bros Ajith Awva, Dolwin kurisunkal and Rince kalapurackal were the student coordinators. We express our attitude of gratitude to Rev. Dr. John Kochupurackal CST, our former Rector who took all the initiatives of this great endeavor.
